Excited to share that I’ve been invited to take part in the Kieler Woche 2025 Corporate Design Competition!
Kieler Woche is one of the world’s biggest sailing festivals, held annually in Kiel, Germany — and since the 1950s, it’s also been known for its incredible design legacy. Each year, 5 designers or small studios are invited to create a full visual identity for the event.
The process kicks off with a special briefing weekend in June 2024 — a deep dive into the festival, its history, and the city of Kiel — accompanied by Ariane Spanier, 2xGoldstein, and the previous winner. It’s not just a poster comp, but a full-on corporate design challenge: print, digital, merch, the works.
Lookong forward to dive in together with Studio S/M/L – Margaret Warzecha and Sven Michel, Berlin, Klaus Welp, Helsinki, Cihan Tamti, Bochum, Groenlandbasel – Dorothea Weishaupt, Sinja Steinhauser and Sophia Schindler, Basel and Muthesius Kunsthochschule, Kiel.
